Minimal Conscious Sedation

At King Park Dental, we know that dental visits can often be a stressful experience for many patients. In order to make your appointments more relaxing, we are happy to offer minimal conscious sedation with your treatment in the form of laughing gas (Nitrous Oxide).

Nitrous Oxide

Here are some important facts regarding Nitrous Oxide:

  • Ensure that you do not eat or drink for 2 hours prior to your appointment

  • A chaperone is not required after your appointment. One of the great things about nitrous oxide is that it only works during the appointment. It is perfectly safe to drive after your appointment

  • It is safe to use on most children

  • Nitrous oxide will help you feel relaxed but you are still conscious during the appointment
