Excessive teeth grinding, clenching, and bruxism can cause major deterioration of your teeth. Meanwhile, snoring can impact the quality of your own sleep and that of those around you. To help our patients most comfortably avoid this, we make custom snore and night guards.
Why Wear a Sports Mouthguard?
Dental injuries are the MOST common type of facial injury in sports. In the Journal of the American Dental Association (JADA) it was reported that 13-39% of all dental injuries are sports-related. Most orofacial injuries, involving teeth, gums, lips, cheeks, and bone, can be PREVENTED by using a mouthguard.
Why A Custom Sports Mouthguard?
While “boil-and-bite” or “preformed” mouthguards are readily available, a custom-fabricated mouthguard provides many advantages. Custom mouthguards are fabricated by taking a mold of your teeth, and the mouthguard is made using the cast of your teeth and gums.
